Google Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the standardised display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimise user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognised that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and for the purpose of optimising our offer (see section 4). These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is required for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, if you wish to object to the use of cookies, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as "Google") for the purpose of designing and continuously optimising our pages to meet your needs. In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Browser type/version,
  • operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • Time of the server request,

will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This data transfer takes place on the basis of a corresponding EU-US Privacy Shield certification from Google, which can be viewed at the following address: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI. The information is used to analyse the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of this website. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised so that they cannot be assigned (IP masking).

You can object to the use of Google Analytics as follows: You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on this link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics help centre (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de ).

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR. With the analysis/tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimisation of our website. On the other hand, we use the analysis/tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and for the purpose of optimising our offer. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

We use the Google Maps map service on our website via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. You can object to the use of the Google Maps plug-in as follows: You have the option of deactivating the Google Maps service in a simple manner and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google: To do this, deactivate JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that you will not be able to use the map display in this case.

You can find more information on the handling of user data in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

We collect and process the personal data of persons who apply for a job with us for the purpose of handling the application process. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits the relevant application documents to us electronically, for example by email or via a contact form on the website. If we conclude a contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the contractual relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions.

f. Facebook fan page

For our Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/HotelSpeicher/, we use the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
We would like to point out that you use the Facebook page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this under the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights .
The data collected about you in this context is processed by Facebook Ltd. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. What information Facebook receives and how it is used is described by Facebook in general terms in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Facebook and the settings options for adverts. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy. You can find Facebook's complete data policy here: https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy.
How Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Facebook and is not known to us.
When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your device. This enables Facebook to recognise that you have visited the Facebook fan page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer you customised content or advertising. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook information that can be used to directly identify you will be deleted. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. If you access interactive functions on the page (like, comment, share, messages, etc.), a Facebook login screen will appear. Once you have logged in, you will once again be recognisable to Facebook as a specific user. Information on how you can manage or delete existing information about you can be found on the following Facebook support pages: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy#.
The legal basis for processing by us is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from our interest in being present on Facebook for advertising purposes and being able to interact with our customers and interested parties there.
